Figure-Oh Issue 201 Reveals Next Tamashii Releases

FO201

Figure-Oh is about to hit stores in Japan, and with it comes the latest from Tamashii Nations and what’s set to release next year.

First in the new reveals is the next release in the S.H.Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou line. The Shinkocchou Seihou line is a new line of S.H.Figuarts figures that began with the renewal of Kamen Rider Kabuto earlier this year and continued with the release of Kamen Rider Hibiki. Next in store for these highly detailed figures is a renewal of Kamen Rider Kuuga. Like Kamen Rider Kabuto, Kuuga was released early in the S.H.Figuarts line. Shown above is a shot of the new Kuuga and older Kuuga next to each other. This new Kuuga will be released in April, 2015 for ¥5,400.

Perhaps to save reveals for the upcoming Tamashii Nations event, the only other retail release S.H.Figuart is Sakura Kinomoto, the main character from Cardcaptor Sakura. Sakura looks to include multiple faces, hands, her wand, Clow Cards, as well as a small figure of Kero. Sakura will make her S.H.Figuarts debut in March, 2015 for ¥5,400.

Next is a long string of Tamashii Web Exclusive reveals, all due out in April, 2015. First up is Kamen Rider Blade. Thanks to the huge popularity of Kamen Rider Blade’s S.H.Figuarts releases, Tamashii has put together a new release of the figure called the “Broken Head Version.” This release uses the same base mold as Blade, but features a new head sculpt with a broken visor. Inside is a sculpting of Kenzaki’s face, visible through the break in the helmet. The figure will cost ¥4,320 before fees. Next is a release in the Kikaider series: Kikaider 01. The figure will cost ¥5,184 before fees. Finally we have the S.H.Figuarts release of Vegito, the fusion of Goku and Vegeta from Dragon Ball Z. The figure will cost ¥4,104 before fees.

Next is the first entry in an all-new line of figures: Figuarts ZERO EX. The first in the line is a release of Super Saiyan 3 Goku from Dragon Ball Z. While most Figurart ZERO releases range from 15cm to 19cm, Figuarts ZERO EX releases will stand at least 30cm tall, dwarfing the normal counterparts. Being a Figuarts ZERO, this figure is a statue, and will cost ¥9,720.

These two S.H.Figuarts releases have been shown off at quite a few Tamashii events, and will finally be released via the Tamashii Web Shop. Cure Melody will be packed with a small figure of Hummy, the mascot character from the series. Cure Melody will be released in April, 2015 while Cure Rhythm will be released in May, 2015. Both girls will cost ¥4,860 before fees.
