The cast of the latest Sentai has been revealed at a press conference held by Toei.

Kishiryu Sentai Ryusoulger, the 43rd Super Sentai series, features dinosaurs as the motif for the fourth time alongside knights for the first time. The series is written by Junpei Yamaoka, who has never written for tokusatsu before, and directed by Kazuya Kamihoriuchi, director of Kamen Rider Build the Movie: Be the One. This will be his first time serving as chief director on a series and his first time directing Super Sentai in any capacity. Shinya Maruyama will serve as chief producer, being a noted producer on various J-Dramas and served as assistant producer on B-Robo Kabutak, Moero!! Robocon, and Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon.

The story revolves around an ancient threat, the Druidon alien race, who left Earth after the meteor that destroyed the dinosaurs came. The Ryusoul tribe left their powers in the care of chosen warriors who would be able to defend the world when the Druidon threat returned to earth.

The catchphrase is a Portuguese phrase “que bom”  meaning “something that’s really great”.
