Uchu Sentai Kyuranger Episode of Stinger Teaser & Cast

The details of the Uchu Sentai Kyuranger Episode of Stinger V-Cinema have been announced.


Today, Toei announced details for the upcoming V-Cinema centered around Stinger from Uchu Sentai Kyuranger.

The official website also includes a synopsis of the movie.

While conducting a liberation mission on Planet Sleeby of the Norma constellation, Stinger and Champ are attacked by Jark Matter and fall into a valley where they remember a common unforgettable past.

The story follows Stinger and Champ searching for Scorpio when they encounter a town whose inhabitants are being attacked by a mysterious woman. Stinger and Champ accept the task to deal with her, but Stinger realizes the words she uttered resembled her brothers’, making him hold back, “I seek power… That alone.

The woman’s name is Mika Rettsu. One of her arms is grotesque and consequently making the town’s people persecute her, leaving her with a desire for revenge. Mika wishes to become a member of Jark Matter, reminding Stinger of his own brother even more, so he begins to want to save her from a sorrowful isolation.

The cast includes:

  • Shota Taguchi as Kotaro
  • Akio Ōtsuka as Champ (voice)
  • Hiroshi Kamiya as Shou Ronpo (voice)
  • Yuki Mamiya
  • Kentarō Shimazu
  • Yuki Kubota as Scorpio
  • Takumi Kizu as Lucky

Uchu Sentai Kyuranger Episode of Stinger will be directed by Koichi Sakamoto, who has recently directed the Space Squad: Gavan vs Dekaranger movie along with several other tokusatsu films, written by Kento Shimoyama (Go-Busters VS Doubutsu Sentai Go-Busters), with special effects supervisor Hiroshi Butsuda and music by Kousuke Yamashita.

The movie is set to go on sale on October 25, 2017, coming out on DVD (4500 yen) and Blu-Ray (5500 yen), as well as Ikkakuju(Unicorn) Kyutama Sets for each (5500 & 6500 yen respectively), which includes the Ikkakuju Kyutama.
