Godzilla: King of the Monsters Casts Anthony Ramos

The sequel to Legendary Film’s 2014 Godzilla movie announced the casting of Anthony Ramos.

Anthony Ramos, known for his role in the Hamilton musical, has been cast as Cpl. Mendoza in the Godzilla: King of the Monsters movie. His character is described as a person “who keeps calm and cool on the surface but whose bravery isn’t to be underestimated in battle.”

Previously announced cast members for the film include Aisha Hinds, Millie Bobby Brown (Stranger Things), Kyle Chandler, Vera Farmiga, and O’Shea Jackson Jr. (Straight Outta Compton). Ken Watanabe will likely return in the film.

The film is slated for release on March 22, 2019.
