Kaiju Girls Coming to Crunchyroll

Tsuburaya’s latest side project, Kaiju Girls, is their latest show being simulcast on Crunchyroll.

Earlier this year, Tsuburaya revealed that their Ultra Monster Anthropomorphic Project, a multimedia endeavor that re-imagines iconic kaiju from the Ultra Series as cute girls, would be turned into a short form anime. Today, Crunchyroll announced that they would be simulcasting that anime to fans all around the world.

Humanity’s battle of many years with the kaiju, giant monsters, has finally come to an end. Now that Earth has entered an age of peace, girls with the souls of kaiju have begun to appear, giving them the ability to transform into kaiju. They are known as the Kaiju Girls, and this is the powerful, transient, beautiful, and at times easygoing story of the strange fate these girls bear.

Kaiju Girls is the third Tsuburaya show to be simulcast internationally on Crunchyroll, following last year’s Ultraman X and the currently running Ultraman Orb.
