Kamen Rider Ryuki Joins Kamen Rider Geats x Revice: Movie Battle Royale

The upcoming winter crossover movie Kamen Rider Geats x Revice: Movie Battle Royale will feature characters from 2002’s Kamen Rider Ryuki.

Toei unveiled a new poster for the upcoming theatrical release Kamen Rider Geats x Revice: Movie Battle Royale which now features characters from Kamen Rider Ryuki. Commemorating the 20th anniversary of the series, Kamen Riders Ryuga, Knight, and Ouja can also be seen alongside characters from both Kamen Rider Revice and the currently airing Kamen Rider Geats. The movie is described as a miracle collaboration between Kamen Riders of the Heisei and Reiwa eras that will transcend time. The catchphrase for the movie is stated as “Let’s get to the apex of heroes!” The first 300,000 moviegoers that preorder their tickets can receive either a Geats or Revice rolling Battle Dash toy. As with the current series, singer Koda Kumi is providing the theme for the movie, titled “Change My Future.”

Originally airing in 2002, Kamen Rider Ryuki followed 13 Kamen Riders thrown into a battle royale against each other as well as deadly Mirror Monsters. The sole survivor of the Rider War was to gain the chance to have one wish granted, much like the current plot of Kamen Rider Geats. The footage from the show was later adapted in the U.S. as Kamen Rider Dragon Knight by Adness Entertainment, and then subsequently dubbed back into Japanese with the new American footage.

Kamen Rider Geats x Revice: Movie Battle Royale is set to be released on December 23rd in theaters across Japan.
