S.H. Figuarts Ultraman Suit Taro Figure Announced

With the release of the Netflix ULTRAMAN season two comes the announcement of S.H. Figuarts Ultraman Suit Taro.

Premium Bandai announced the release of S.H. Figuarts Ultraman Suit Taro from Netflix’s ULTRAMAN. Ultraman Suit Taro makes his debut in the second season which premiered on April 14th, 2022. The user of the suit is Kotaro Higashi, a Japanese photographer who gained powers after being experimented on by aliens. The Taro suit was given to him to help limit his powerful abilities.

As with the previous S.H. Figuarts Ultraman series, this item has been sculpted with the cooperation and supervision of Tsuburaya Productions’ molding division, LSS. The figure is approximately 160 mm in height and reproduces the image from the anime. Taro sports a more curved design compared to his other Ultraman Suit counterparts.The figure comes with a number of accessories. These include replacement wrists, fire effect parts, and Taro’s transformation item, the “Ultra Badge”. Poses reminiscent of the original Ultraman Taro can be reproduced with the replacement wrists.  

As a bonus, “Ultra Slash” effect parts for the previously released S.H. Figuarts ULTRAMAN -the animation- are also included.

The second season of Netflix’s ULTRAMAN series has officially begun streaming. All six episodes of the season currently available to watch globally on the streaming service. In addition, details on the season’s opening and ending themes have also released.
