Ultraman Trigger: Episode Z is a Tsuburaya Imagination original movie scheduled to premiere on Tsuburaya Imagination and theaters across Japan on March 18, 2022.

Tsuburaya Imagination’s first original movie, Ultraman Trigger: Episode Z, will premiere on Tsuburaya Imagination in addition to theaters across Japan on March 18, 2022.

For fans in Japan, general admission will be 1900 yen in theaters (1100 yen for children), and presale prices will be 1700 yen for general audience and 900 yen for children. Parent & child pair tickets (1 adult + 1 child) will cost 2500 yen and can be presented at Ultra Heroes EXPO 2022 New Year Festival at Tokyo Dome City to receive one of four special finger puppets.

The available puppets will be:

• Ultraman Trigger Multi Type,
• Ultraman Trigger Power Type,
• Ultraman Trigger Sky Type, and
• Ultraman Z Original

Presale tickets will be available on Movie Ticket starting Tuesday December 14 at midnight.

This movie features the appearances of Evil Trigger, an evil giant who inherits the shadow, as well as Ultraman Trigger’s predecessor Haruki Natsukawa (played by Kohshu Hirano) / Ultraman Z.

In addition, known for his roles in the Kamen Rider series as Yuto Sakurai / Kamen Rider Zeronos (Kamen Rider Den-O) and Kyosuke Kiriya (Kamen Rider Hibiki), Yuichi Nakamura will also appear, playing as the new captain of the GUTS-SELECT defense team.

Plot Synopsis

Two years have passed since the final battle and peace has been restored around the globe. However, things don’t stay quiet for long when monsters once again begin to appear on Earth. At the same time, a series of mysterious break-ins take place at super ancient ruins around the world. Expert team GUTS-SELECT, led by a new captain (played by Yuichi Nakamura), prepares the squad to launch an investigation. Little do they know, it is the beginning of a fierce battle with the fate of the universe in the balance.

GUTS-SELECT and Ultraman Z (Zett) rush into battle with our hero, Manaka Kengo, in the lead. A sinister figure emerges from the shadows: Evil Trigger, a sinister giant that inherits the shadow.

To make everyone smile again, Ultraman Trigger and Haruki, human host of Ultraman Z, join forces with the new members of GUTS-SELECT as well as Ignis (played by Kei Hosogai), human host of Trigger Dark, will take part in the ultimate battle between light and shadow!
