S.H. Figuarts The Unfettered Shogun Figure Announced

Tamashii Nation announced the release of “The Unfettered Shogun”, the fictitious version of Tokugawa Yoshimune who shared a movie with Kamen Rider OOO, Kamen Rider OOO Wonderful: The Shogun and the 21 Core Medals.

The Unfettered Shogun is Tokugawa Yoshimune, based off the real life shogun of the same name. This version of Tokugawa was portrayed by Ken Matsudaira in the television series, Abaranbo Shogun (The Unfettered Shogun). Abarenbo Shogun ran for an impressive 30 years, running from January 1978 to December 2008. Matsudaira’s portrayal of Tokugawa was a major character in the film, Kamen Rider OOO Wonderful: The Shogun and the 21 Core Medals. In the film, the Unfettered Shogun fought alongside Kamen Rider OOO against the Nue Yummy and also provided OOO with the cobra, turtle, and crocodile medals.

 Working alongside Ken Matsudaira, the face of the figure is created with digital printing. The figure stands at 145 mm tall and is made of ABS and PVC. Accessories include: one tachi sword, one folding fan, and three replacement wrists (right and left). Recreate classic samurai action with this figure!

The S.H. Figuarts The Unfettered Shogun figure from Abaranbo Shogun and Kamen Rider OOO Wonderful: The Shogun and the 21 Core Medals will go for 7,700 yen (tax included) and is scheduled for shipment June 2022.
