Netflix’s ULTRAMAN Season 2 Teaser Trailer Released

A new teaser trailer for the second season of Netflix’s ULTRAMAN has been released. Additionally, the new voice for Ultraman Taro was revealed.

On November 9th, Netflix held “Netflix Festival Japan 2021,” alongside announcements for many other projects, a new teaser trailer for the second season of Netflix’s ULTRAMAN was revealed. The trailer briefly showcases each of the 6 Ultra Brothers, including a new character named Kotaro Higashi, aka Ultraman Taro.

Alongside this trailer, it was also revealed that Tomoako Maeno has joined the cast as Taro, replacing Tatsuhisa Suzuki in the role following his career hiatus. A short interview with Tomoako Maeno was shown off with the announcement.

Various comments from the rest of the cast were also showcased during the event. The cast highlight the show’s story and “incredible” action. Ryohei Kimura (protagonist Shinjiro Hayata) said the following.

ULTRAMAN Season 2 is set for global release in Spring of 2022. This new season will introduce Kotaro Higashi, a photographer who discovers the existence of aliens, and eventually, transform into a superhuman being with the power of fire. Season 1 of ULTRAMAN is currently available worldwide exclusively through Netflix.
