Dogengers Season Two Box Sets Available For Pre-Order

Dogengers ~Nice Buddy~, the second season of Dogengers, is now available for DVD and Blu-Ray pre-order.

The second season of Dogengers, titled Dogengers ~Nice Buddy~, is now available as special edition and normal edition Blu-Ray and DVD box sets. Pre-orders are currently open, and the disc sets will release on 4 February, 2022.

Special Edition

The special edition of Dogengers ~Nice Buddy~ on Blu-Ray and DVD comes with the following content:

• Behind the scenes footage (previously uploaded to Twitter)
• A creditless version of the opening theme song
• Production announcement press conference video
• Dialogue short video “Kogengers”
• Short animation “Dogengers Mini Knowledge”
• Previously unreleased making-of video featuring Kita-Q-man

• Dogengers appearance CM collection (3 books)

If purchased from Amazon Japan, the special edition also includes a card set of six characters.

Dogengers ~Nice Buddy~ Synopsis

Dogengers is a story of real-life heroes. The first series was filmed in only one month and trended across the country, and life was smooth for our heroes.

However, because they are real-life heroes, the Dogengers were found in various scandals. (Especially Kita-Q-Man.)

Amidst all of this, ratings for their latest series “Dogengers ~ End Gomentaiko” fell below 1%, and the show ended poorly.

But it seems to have been succeeded by “Ginga Shinsei Great Z,” the latest show from long-standing special effects production company Hanagata Tokusatsu. The trailer was refreshing, and all seemed to be well…
