Original Godzilla Comes to US Theatres in 4K This November

Celebrating Godzilla’s 67th anniversary, Alamo Drafthouse is presenting the original Godzilla in 4K this November, alongside four other Godzilla films.

To commemorate the upcoming 67th anniversary of the Godzilla franchise on November 3rd, Alamo Drafthouse is celebrating by featuring the world premiere of the brand new 4K remaster of 1954’s Godzilla (Gojira) in the United States. In the days following the premiere of Godzilla, Alamo Drafthouse is also presenting the chance to see a selection of 4 other Godzilla films. This selection includes Godzilla vs. Hedorah from November 6th, Shin Godzilla from November 8th, and a double feature of The Return of Godzilla and Godzilla vs. Biollante.

Alamo Drafthouse Cinema is an Austin-based movie theatre company whose screenings of the various Godzilla movies will be held at over two dozen locations across the United States. Tickets are already on sale over at Drafthouse’s website.
