Ultraman Orb Ultra Replica Orb Ring Revealed

Premium Bandai revealed their latest release in the Ultra Replica series, the Ultra Replica Orb Ring from Ultraman Orb.

The Orb Ring, used by the main character Gai Kurenai (plortrayed by Hideo Ishiguro) in the Ultraman Orb TV series, which aired in 2016, is now available as part of the Ultra Replica Series, a replica item for adults.

This product has undergone major changes to the molding and specifications from the DX version. For the exterior, the prop used for filming was scanned in 3D, and the design data was created from scratch. The ring part was changed from the transparent color of the DX version to milky white.In addition, the number of LEDs has been greatly increased from the DX  version to better replicate the scene in the TV series. The inner diameter of the grip has been changed from the DX version’s approximately 5.5 cm to approximately 6.7 cm so that even adults can hold it.

The body is equipped with a motion sensor, and just like in the TV series, the Orb Ring can be activated by thrusting it forward. It emits light and sounds. A total of 10 BGM tracks are included in the audio specifications, and a BGM standby mode is provided to automatically play the BGM after the transformation. The item includes many newly recorded lines of dialogue and voices from Hideo Ishiguro, who portrayed Gai Kurenai in Ultraman Orb.

22 Ultra Fusion cards with prop designs from the movie are included. The Ultra Fusion cards of Jade, Bull, Rosso, Taiga, Zed, and Trigger are new designs only for this product. You can transform into any type of Ultraman Orb that has appeared in the series. The “Gai Kurenai Mode” installed in the Orb Ring itself allows you to experience the same transformation sequence as in the TV series. You can transform to the sound of “I’ll take care of the power of light!” After transforming, you will be able to say, “My name is Orb. I will illuminate the darkness and avenge evil!” and more.

The Ultra Fusion Card that comes with this product is not guaranteed to work when read by the DX Orb Ring. Please be forewarned.

The set includes the Ultra Replica Orb Ring, dedicated pedestal, 22 Ultra Fusion Cards, and a User’s Manual. The Orb Ring measures a height of approx. 250 mm x width of approx. 179 mm x diameter of approx. 72.2 mm. The dedicated pedestal measures a height of approx. 82 mm x width of approx. 89.8 mm x diameter of approx. 77.8 mm. The Ultra Fusion Cards each measures approx. 89 mm x 59 mm (H) x 59 mm (W). The Orb Ring is made of ABS and PC, the pedestal is made of ABS, and the Ultra Fusion Cards are made of paper. The Orb Ring requires three AA dry batteries (sold separately).

The Ultraman Orb Ultra Replica Orb Ring from Ultraman Orb will go for 16,500 Yen (tax included) and is scheduled for shipment in February 2022. Preorders are being accepted starting August 6, 2021, at 11:00 JST until September 13, 2021, at 23:00 JST.
