Bandai Tamashii Nations revealed their newest installment in the S.H. Figuarts Ultra Series figure line, the S.H. Figuarts Ultraman Trigger Multi Type figure from Ultraman Trigger.
A light of hope to build the future! It’s finally here! Ultraman Trigger, the new hero who will usher in a new era, is now available as an S.H. Figuarts figure. Just before pre-orders open to the general public on Friday, July 16, we’ll be taking a closer look at the figure with all new images.
Ultraman Trigger is another Ultrahero with the ability to change his form and fight according to the battle situation. The Ultraman Trigger Multi Type has an excellent balance of offense and defense, and features a color scheme of purple, silver, and red. As with the previous S.H. Figuarts Ultraman series, this item has been sculpted with the cooperation and supervision of Tsuburaya Productions’ molding division, LSS. The figure is approximately 150 mm in height and reproduces the image from the TV series.
Let’s take a closer look at the stylish form and details that are typical of the new Ultraman era. This S.H. Figuarts will be using clear material for the pale yellow eyes and blue forehead.
The geometric detailing from the neck down is also a unique element of Ultraman Trigger. The mold that goes into the chest, back, forearms, and the gold portions of the shins and calves is reproduced in S.H. Figuarts size. This mold is also inside the color timer, and the color timer can be replaced with the included red one.
The articulation that has been cultivated in the S.H. Figuarts series up to now, especially the drawer mechanism in the shoulders, allows the figure to be posed not only in the pose of shooting the Zeppelion ray, but also in the “arms extended horizontally” pose before that. In addition to the wrist parts shown in the image above, there is also a basic grip wrist and three open wrists that can be used to recreate chops and stances.
The hip joints are also equipped with a joint pull-out mechanism, allowing you to pose him in a variety of action poses, such as a kneeling pose with his waist deeply lowered, or a kicking pose.
Ultraman Trigger shares some common elements in its setting and worldview with Ultraman Tiga, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary. These mysteries will eventually be revealed in the main story, but don’t miss the activities of the new hero, Ultraman Trigger, who inherits the legend, and the development of S.H. Figuarts!
Preorders for the S.H. Figuarts Ultraman Trigger Multi Type figure from Ultraman Trigger are being accepted starting Friday, July 16th, 2021. Price and other preorder details are still unknown.
