Ultraman Taro Now Streaming Via movieSPREE

The sixth series in the Ultra franchise is now available to stream in its entirety.

All 53 episodes of Ultraman Taro are now available for rental or purchase via movieSPREE. Originally airing in the spring of 1973 and produced by Tsuburaya Productions, Ultraman Taro follows the adventures of Kotaro Higashi, the newest member of the ZAT organization. After suffering a fatal injury while encountering an alien force, Kotaro is saved by the combined efforts of the Five Ultra Brothers and Mother of Ultra to become Ultraman Taro. Kotaro as Taro uses his power to defend Earth from many threats until he ultimately decides to turn in his Ultra Badge and travel the world as a normal human.

In the more recent Ultra series, Taro has been seen as a mentor to the newer generation of Ultra heroes and is the father of Ultraman Taiga. The character’s current run of popularity can be seen through their supporting role in 2013’s Ultraman Ginga through the more recent movie, Ultraman Taiga The Movie: New Generation Climax, which was released this past August.
