Tokusatsu DNA: ULTRAMAN Genealogy Exhibition To Be Held in Osaka

Learn the history of the special effects techniques used in the Ultra franchise at the Tokusatsu DNA: ULTRAMAN Genealogy exhibit.

The exhibition titled Tokusatsu DNA: ULTRAMAN Genealogy has opened in Hiragata Park in Osaka and will be open until January 31, 2020. This same exhibition was previously held in Tokyo Dome back in October this year with a VR ticket available online.

This event features the special effects used by Toho, the company that produced the Godzilla.

The exhibition features information about the history behind the filming of the franchise as well as many screen-used props on display; such as the three different types of masks used in the 1966 series Ultraman series.
