Shinkenger’s Tori Matsuzaka Announces Marriage

The Sentai alumni announced his surprise marriage via a Twitter post today.

The actor revealed via Twitter to his followers that he has married actress Erika Toda. Toda herself played Misa across the live-action Death Note films beginning in 2006.

Tori Matsuzaka portrayed ShinkenRed/Takeru Shiba in the 2009 Samurai Sentai Shinkenger TV series. Matsuzaka also played the lead character in the 2013 live-action Gatchaman movie, based on the Tatsunoko franchise of animated Sentai-like heroes who wear bird-themed outfits. Matsuzaka has gone on to have a successful career in television and cinema, starring in various TV series and movies

In his Twitter post, Matsuzaka apologized for the “sudden” announcement and vowed to continue working hard in the future.
