Tsuburaya invites young Ultraman fans to submit photos and videos for use on its YouTube channel and during upcoming promotional events.
Tsuburaya announced on its website that, in order to “bring light to Ultra heroes,” Ultraman fans 15 years old or younger can submit photo and video content to be featured in upcoming YouTube videos and stage shows.
The application period runs from November 9, 2020 – November 30, 2020, and select submissions will be used in Ultraman Foundation videos posted to the Ultraman Official YouTube channel, as well as during Ultra Heroes Expo 2021.
Fans are asked to submit videos of themselves placing their hand on their chest before stretching it out forward – the “Ultra Charge” – or cheering and clapping for their favorite Ultra heroes. Photos should include fans striking Ultraman poses such as an appearance pose or an action pose, like blasting an Ultra beam.
Applicants must be 15 years old or younger and have consent from a parent or guardian to submit. However, older family members and friends can appear in photos along with the participant, and fans over 15 years of age are invited to submit photos from their childhood.
The application, as well as additional rules and regulations, can be found on the Tsuburaya Productions official website.
