A new preview for Ultra Galaxy Fight: The Absolute Conspiracy reveals the early form of the evil ultra, Ultraman Tregear, and the new theme song.

Ultraman Tregear, previously the villain of Ultraman R/B The Movie and Ultraman Taiga, has been revealed in his early form from before he fell to the dark side. In this new preview for Ultra Galaxy Fight: The Absolute Conspiracy, the new theme song and new casting information has also been revealed.

The trailer features “ZERO to INFINITY” by Mamoru Miyano as the theme song and displays new story details including the appearance of Ultraman Tregear’s early style. Tregear’s Japanese voice will be played by Yuma Uchida while Michael Rhys was previously announced as his English language voice actor.

The previous announcement also included an English-speaking voice actor for Ultraman Taro (Bill Sullivan), but Taro will actually be voiced by two actors in the Japanese language version. Hiroya Ishimaru will be reprising his role as the Japanese voice of Taro from works such as Ultraman StoryUltraman Ginga, and Ultraman Taiga, and Showtaro Morikubo will also play a young version of Taro. Sullivan will play both versions of Taro in the English dub. Morikubo delivered the following comments on his role:

“Among the many Ultraman, Ultraman Taro is the one for whom I feel a powerful, powerful affinity. My name is Showtaro, after all. I never thought the day would come when I would be connected to Ultraman Taro by playing him in his youth. I look forward to the future activities of Ultraman, beloved across generations and around the world, and I hope that I’ll have more chances to participate.”

In addition to this news, Ultraman Joneus (played by Japanese voice actor Nobuaki Kanemitsu) will be making his first appearance in 17 years since New Century 2003 Ultraman Legend: The King’s Jubilee. Joneus, with last year being his 40th anniversary, was the first animated Ultra who comes from U40, a Star of Ultra outside of the Land of Light. Andro Melos (played by Japanese voice actor Tomohiro Yamaguchi) will also appear in live action for the first time in 37 years. In a 1983 miniseries, Andro Melos fought with the  Andro Defense Force against the conquering Gua Army. His invincible armor is called the Cosmo Tector.

According to Ultraman Galaxy, “The series will also unveil the “Ultra League,” a mixed team of various heroes. Who will be involved for reasons yet to be revealed.”

In one extra announcement, Ultraman Galaxy announced plans to release the special BANDAI SPIRITS TAMASHII NATION 2020 video developed by the Bandai Spirits collector’s division. The video will release on YouTube and feature sneak peeks of The Absolute Conspiracy as well as appearances by director Koichi Sakamoto, Megumi Han (Sora & Ultraman Justice), and Tatsuomi Hamada (Ultraman Geed).
