Super Mini-Pla Bioman Content Announced

Following the Super Mini-Pla GoGoFive mecha line, Premium Bandai announced the next Super Sentai Super Mini-Pla releases, the Super Mini-Pla Denshi Gattai Bio Robo and Big Scale Bio Dragon from the 8th Super Sentai series, Choudenshi Bioman. 

Bio Robo is Bioman’s primary mecha. It is combined from Bio Jets 1 and 2 with the command “Gattai! Hyper Cross!”. The mecha came from the Bio Star 500 years ago to shower five youths with Bio Particles and is also semi-sentient.

Armed with the Super-Maser sword, it destroys monsters with a variety of finishing attacks. Bio Jet 1 is used by Red One and Pink Five. It forms the upper half of Bio Robo. Bio Jet 2 is used by Green Two, Blue Three, and Yellow Four. It forms the lower half of Bio Robo.

The set comes with a plastic model kit for Bio Jet 1 and Bio Jet 2 as well as a piece of Ramune confectionery. Everything is made of ABS and Bio Robo measures a height of approx. 155 mm x width of approx. 70 mm.

The Super Mini-Pla Choudenshi Bioman Bio Robo set from Choudenshi Bioman will go for 5,500 Yen (tax included).

Bio Dragon is Bioman’s carrier ship for Bio Jets 1 and 2. It is equipped with two laser guns on the fuselage side as well as a magnetic force crane that picks up an inert BioRobo. It can also transport a fully-transformed Bio Robo to the battle scene.

The mini-pla version can be transformed into two forms: battleship form and aircraft carrier form. It can be equipped with Bio Jet 1 and Bio Jet 2 in conjunction with the Super Mini-Pla Denshi Gattai Bio Robo (sold separately). The set comes with the platsic model kit for Bio Dragon and a piece of Ramune confectionery. Everything is made of ABS/MABS.

In battleship form, the mecha measures a total length of approx. 24.5 cm and a height of approx. 14 cm. In aircraft carrier form, it measures a total length of approx. 31 cm and a height of approx. 8 cm.

The Super Mini-Pla Big Scale Bio Dragon set from Choudenshi Bioman will go for 11,000 Yen (tax included).

Both are scheduled for shipment in February 2021. Preorders are being accepted starting October 20, 2020, at 11:00 JST.
