Fumika Baba Posts Recovery Update After COVID-19 Diagnosis
Fumika Baba has released an update on her health after being diagnosed with COVID-19.
On September 9th, it was announced through Fumika Baba’s official Instagram account that she had received positive news regarding her coronavirus diagnosis. Back in August, it was confirmed that she had contracted the virus and was quarantining at home to receive medical treatment.
Fumika Baba is best known to tokusatsu fans as the villainous Medic from Kamen Rider Drive. Baba’s Instagram remained silent while she recovered, with the post made on September 9th marking the first time she had posted since the diagnosis. The update post reads:
“Everyone, I am terribly sorry for the great trouble I have caused my fellow performers, staff, and everyone involved. Under instructions from the medical staff and nursing staff, I took a PCR test after a period of isolation, and it was confirmed that I am no longer infected. I will be slowly returning to work again while keeping an eye on my health. I was saved and gained much courage from the warm words of all those who support me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you so much, I am so grateful.”
