Ultra Q Streaming This Fall on TokuSHOUTsu
TokuSHOUTsu took to Twitter to announce that Ultra Q will be streaming this November.
Following Shout! Factory’s acquisition of streaming rights for Ultraman properties in a partnership with Mill Creek, TokuSHOUTsu announced on Twitter that the first show in this deal will be streaming in November. This will be the original show in the Ultra Series, Ultra Q.
TokuSHOUTsu posted a gif of Ultra Q’s title card, simply writing “November” as the caption with #UltraQ. No further information about this release was announced at the time of writing, but details are expected to be released as we approach November.
Produced by Eiji Tsuburaya and inspired by The Twilight Zone, Ultra Q is a black-and-white kaiju series featuring characters who investigate paranormal phenomena. Many kaiju who would appear in Ultra Q would go on to be included in Ultra Q’s more popular successor, Ultraman.

According to Shout! Factory’s press release announcing the acquisition of streaming rights for Ultra Series shows, Ultra Q is only the first series in an “aggressive rollout of Ultraman pop culture properties” on TokuSHOUTsu “this year.” While this press release suggests the release of other Ultra Series productions, no other announcements have been made at this time.
Ultra Q will stream via TokuSHOUTsu (channel 848) on Pluto TV this November.
