Rina Akiyama Returns as Naomi In Pretty Den-O Appears!

New plot details and photos for Kamen Rider Den-O: Pretty Den-O Appears! show the return of the evil organization Shocker.

After the announcement of the first Kamen Rider Den-O special in 10 years titled Kamen Rider Den-O: Pretty Den-O Appears!, new photos have come out showing more of the story and characters in the project, including the return of actress Rina Akiyama as Naomi, the Denliner’s waitress and only other constant human passenger aside from the Manager. The story revolves around a new character named Anna, a 10 year old girl who runs away after having a fight with her mother. Somehow, Anna ends up being the target of the evil organization Shocker and ends up on the Denliner where she meets Momotaros, Urataros, Kintaros and Ryutaros. The Denliner then travels to the year 1989, the first year of the Heisei era, where Anna begins a new adventure while being accompanied by Momotaros.

Although known for her role as Naomi in 2007’s Kamen Rider Den-O, Akiyama got her start several years prior as the young heroine Mana Kazaya in 2001’s Kamen Rider Agito, a role she reprised last year in Kamen Rider Zi-O alongside lead actor Toshiki Kashu. Voice actors Toshihiko Seki, Koji Yusa, Masaki Terasoma and Kenichi Suzumura will all reprise their roles as the four Imagin.

Kamen Rider Den-O: Pretty Den-O Appears! will screen at the Toei Manga Festival on April 24th, 2020.
