Tokusatsu Alum to Face Off in Tumbling Stage Play

Kamen Rider Ghost’s Shun Nishime and Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patranger’s Seiya Motoki star together in Tumbling 2020.  

In honor of the 2020 Summer Olympics, the stage play that is themed off men’s rhythmic gymnastics is returning with a new cast. It has been 5 years since the last performance and the show will celebrate its 10th anniversary this year.

The show will be directed by Kei Watanabe and the captains of the dueling teams are performed by Shun Nishime and Akira Takano. Nishime is well recognized to Japenese audiences as Takeru Tenkuuji/Kamen Rider Ghost from the 2015 Kamen Rider season of the same name. He has made a name for himself since his season ended, starring in various roles on stage and on the screen.

Seiya Motoki is part of the opposing team to Nishime’s character. Motoki is most familiar to tokusatsu fans as Noel Takao/Lupin X/Patren X in Lupinranger VS Patrenger.

The show will run from April 19 – April 29 in Tokyo at the TBS Akasaka ACT Theater, then it will move to Osaka and perform on May 9 – May 10 at COOL JAPAN PARK OSAKA WW Hall. Ticket prices range between 9,000 and 15,000 yen.
