Many Kamen Rider and Super Sentai actors appeared as guests at the 32nd annual Junon Super Boy Contest.

Every year, the fashion magazine Junon holds the Junon Super Boy Contest. Boys from the ages of 13 and 22 in Japan are encouraged to enter where they compete to win awards. This is generally seen as a vehicle for the young man’s career.

On November 24th, the 32nd Junon Super Boy Contest was held and a group of past Junon Boys surprised the crowd as guests of the show. The group who came on stage consisted of three Kamen Rider actors and two Super Sentai actors. The men began doing challenges, including a pull up bar contest, as part of the competition to see who was the strongest hero.

The group consisted of:

  • So Okuno – Kamen Rider Zi-O in Kamen Rider Zi-O
  • Gaku Oshida – Kamen Rider Geiz in Kamen Rider Zi-O
  • Ryutaro Okada – Kamen Rider Vulcan in Kamen Rider Zero-One
  • Keito Tsuna – RyusoulBlue in Kishiryu Sentai Ryusoulger
  • Yuito Obara – RyusoulGreen in Kishiryu Sentai Ryusoulger

It has been a continuing trend that Junon Boys later star in tokusatsu productions, mainly Kamen Rider. The last four Kamen Rider seasons have heavily featured past Junon Boy winners, and the trend is expected to live on in the future.
