S.H. Figuarts Ankh (Human) Revealed
The popular Kamen Rider OOO character gets the S.H. Figuarts treatment this coming year
Fresh from the Premium Bandai Website, a S.H. Figuarts Ankh (Human) figure has been announced, as portrayed by Ryosuke Miura, which you can check out in the photo gallery below. The figure comes with three heads with different expressions (calm, angry, and his signature smirk), the O Medal Holder, and 5 different hands, including one for holding his favorite ice candy. This release will mark the third S.H. Figuarts version of the character to be released after his disembodied hand and Greeed form and the second realistic out of suit character from the S.H. Figuarts line after Kuroto Dan from 2016’s Kamen Rider Ex-Aid, which was modeled after actor Tetsuya Iwanaga.
The character was first introduced in 2010’s Kamen Rider OOO as a bird-type Greed possessing the body of near-dead police officer Shingo Izumi, both voiced and played by Miura. He returned to the role in the 2017 team-up movie Kamen Rider Heisei Generations Final: Build & Ex-Aid with Legend Rider alongside co-star Shu Watanabe, who played the titular Kamen Rider OOO.
Pre-orders for the figure will retail for 6600 yen and will start on October 24 with a May 2020 release date.
