Tokusatsu GaGaGa now Available on BluRay and DVD

The comedic tokusatsu series release on BluRay and DVD comes with extras and collectible items.

New to BluRay and DVD this week, the release of the drama series Tokusatsu GaGaGa will feature bonuses and extras. The extra content on the disks, which clocks in at over an hour of footage, includes a compilation of the featured episodes of the in-show series Jushowan as well as the karaoke themes the characters of the series sing along to, including the “Love Cute” song. Included in the first run is an 11cm ShishiLeo soft figure just like the one the main character owns. Exclusive to the Amazon release is a large button of Emerjason, a character based on the Metal Heroes series that helped rekindle Kana’s interest in tokusatsu.

Adapted from the manga by Tanba Niwa, the drama series follows office worker Kano Nakamura as she seeks to navigate her adult life while still maintaining her out of work hobbies as a tokusatsu geek. The seven episode series followed Kano as she develops friendships, attends her first live stage show, and deals with her overbearing mother who has never approved of Kana’s love of tokusatsu.
