Kamen Rider Hibiki Movie Receives Blu-ray Release

The movie for 2005’s Kamen Rider Hibiki will hit Blu-ray on July 10th.

Debuting in September 2005, Kamen Rider Hibiki & The Seven Senki Movie is unlike other Kamen Rider movies, heavily focusing on characters and Rider in the Sengoku era who are played by the main cast of the show. The movie is inspired by the classic Akira Kurosawa film, the Seven Samurai, and explains the history of the monsters and Riders of the show.

Between the two discs, the set includes the theatrical release, the director’s cut, the making of, previews and trailers, and the original stage presentation. There will also be audio commentary from director Taro Sakamoto and cinematographer Masao Inokuma, which was present on the original DVD release.

The Blu-ray release will sell for ¥5,619 and be released on July 10th 2019.
