Netflix Releases Ultraman CG Anime Series Trailer

Netflix released the trailer for the upcoming Ultraman CG anime series that launches on April 1st.

The trailer reveals that the series will be centered around high school student, Shinjiro Hayata. He will step into his father’s shoes and don the Ultra suit to become Ultraman. The series is set to be a few years after the original 1960 Ultraman series. As he takes over his father’s role, he fuses with what is known as the “giant of light” to transform into Ultraman just in time for a new set of invading aliens to arrive on Earth.

The series will also feature other types of Ultraman who ultimately struggle to accept Shinjiro as the Ultraman before helping him defeat this new set of villains. Netflix has not officially confirmed the number of episodes. Season 1 will be available to stream worldwide on April 1st.
