Kamen Rider Zi-O Spinoffs Receive Episode Count
The two spinoffs made for Kamen Rider Zi-O, based on Kamen Rider Shinobi and Kamen Rider Ryuki, now have release dates and episode counts.
RIDER TIME: Kamen Rider Shinobi is a mini-series starring Shinobi, a Rider from the year 2022 in Kamen Rider Zi-O‘s alternate timeline. The spinoff will be featured on the Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club, comprised of 3 episodes that will debut on March 31st, April 7th, and April 14th, respectively. It will be directed by Takayuki Shibasaki, who has directed several episodes for nearly every Rider show that has come out since 2006, most recently the Shinobi arc in Zi-O itself.
Meanwhile, RIDER TIME: Kamen Rider Ryuki is a mini-series that acts as a continuation to the Ryuki TV series, featuring a few of its Riders. The spinoff will be featured on VideoPass. Like Shinobi, it will be comprised of 3 episodes debuting on March 31st, April 7th, and April 14th, respectively. It will be written by Toshiki Inoue, who served as a head writer for Agito, 555, Kiva, and various episodes of several other early Heisei Rider shows.
On March 30th, one day before both debut, the Kamen Rider Zi-O Spinoff RIDER TIME Eve Premium Screening & Talk Show will show the first episodes of these two spinoffs, along with a talk show segment. This will be limited to members of VideoPass and the Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club, invited via lottery.
