NHK Releases First Tokusatsu Gagaga Trailer

NHK has released a short trailer for the first episode of the upcoming Tokusatsu Gagaga series.

The trailer for the first episode, which premieres on January 18th, is available for viewing via NHK’s website.

In the J-Drama series, Fuka Koshiba stars as Kano Nakamura, who loves tokusatsu but keeps her love of the medium hidden from others. She enjoys imagining herself as a hero in tokusatsu shows as a way to think through the problems that plague her in real life. Kano will often skip hanging out with colleagues in favor of watching tokusatsu shows on TV. She also collects DVDs, books, and figurines of her favorite heroes.

Golden Bomber, whose lead vocalist, Sho Kiryuin, previously performed the opening theme for Kamen Rider Wizard, will perform the theme song, Gagagagagagaga.
