The man in charge of candy toy development goes by D, and in honor of Zi-O, he has changed his usual nickname to Di-O.
Di-O begins with SG RideWatch 02, which features a few RideWatches from the show, with the original additions of Snipe (Kamen Rider Ex-Aid) and Evol (Kamen Rider Build), which were described as popular characters.
He also reminds fans that the Christmas cake is also available for pre-order, which includes an exclusive Christmas-themed Zi-O RideWatch.
After this, Di-O reflects on the three years that SO-DO has been going on, starting with Kamen Rider Ex-Aid. He thanks all for taking interest in SO-DO, and assures that the challenge of SO-DO won’t stop. In 2019, a new brand will come into existence:
SO-DO Chronicle is a new offshoot of the SO-DO line, which will cover Kamen Rider series that predate Ex-Aid, delivering a similar play style with two items in a wave forming a single figure. While there is already a 4 inch figure line called SHODO, this will be a different experience, focusing on form change gimmicks like SO-DO’s offerings thus far.
In an impromptu new SO-DO Kamen Rider W segment, Di-O reveals the first figures that were made for this line: Kamen Rider Double in CycloneJoker, in FangJoker, and Kamen Rider Joker. These will feature much of the improvements SO-DO has made as of Zi-O, including the articulation range and swappable hands.
This first set will be released in February 2019.
