Tsuburaya Releases New SSSS.Gridman Trailer

The studio behind Ultraman has released the latest trailer for the upcoming SSSS. Gridman TV anime series.

The series follows Yuta Hibiki, a senior high school student suffering from memory loss. After coming across an old PC, Yuta meets “Gridman, the Hyper Agent”, who is desperately trying to get Yuta to remember his “mission”. Yuta’s search for his memory begins when giant monsters suddenly begin appearing out of nowhere.

The series is directed by Akira Amemiya (Inferno Cop) and written by Keiichi Hasegawa (Ultraman Nexus, Kamen Rider W) and produced by Studio Trigger in cooperation with Tsuburaya Productions. Hikaru Midorikawa, who voiced Gridman in the original 1993 tokusatsu series, will reprise his role.

SSSS. Gridman will premiere on October 6th at 1 AM on Tokyo MX, MBS, and BS11.
