Kamen Rider Zi-O to Feature Rider-Themed Gadgets

Kamen Rider Zi-O will be featuring some gadgets that pay homage to previous entries in the franchise. The first of these has been revealed as the DX Faiz Phone X. 

Previously revealed supporting character Tsukuyomi was shown holding a strange yet familiar phone, and with Bandai’s product reveals for September, we now have a good look at this item. It is the first of several gadgets which can transform into watches and be placed into the DX Ziku-Driver.

The Faiz Phone X is a combination phone and gun based on the transformation phone and gun used by Kamen Rider Faiz from the 2003 series Kamen Rider 555. With exclamations like “Burst Mode!” and “Exceed Charge!”, it seems like a must-have for any fan of Faiz. Currently, there is no confirmation on what type of voice the gadgets will each have, whether it be the original voices from their respective series or the voice used for Zi-O’s original items.

The DX Faiz Phone X will be seeing release in October with a price of ¥2,500.

It was recently announced that the actors for Faiz – and his secondary Rider, Kaixa – would be appearing in Kamen Rider Zi-O in episodes 5 and 6. ISSA, a member of DA PUMP who performed the opening to 555, will also be contributing to Zi-O‘s opening theme, “Over Quartzer”.
