Premium Bandai Announces Super Sentai Artisan Degitaizer and Battleraizer

Premium Bandai announces the newest installment in their Super Sentai Artisan line, Denji Sentai Megaranger’s Degitaizer and Battleraizer. 

Following the previous release of Artisan line changers, Premium Bandai has announced their next release in the Super Sentai Artisan line, Denji Sentai Megaranger’s Degitaizer and Battleraizer Megareal Edition.

Pressing the infamous code of “3,3,5”, the Degitaizer allows Kenta Date (MegaRed), Kouichirou Endou (MegaBlack), Shun Namiki (MegaBlue), Chisato Jougasaki (MegaYellow), and Miku Imamura (MegaPink) to activate their Mega suits and transform into the Megarangers. Depending on the three digit code pressed, it also allows them to communicate with INET, call their Cyber Sliders, and activate their Mecha.

The Battleraizer is a power-up brace given to Kenta by Professor Kubota which allows the user to use powered-up chops (Raizer Chop), punches (Raizer Punch), and shooting attacks. The Megarangers also use it to call and control Delta Mega and activate Super Galaxy Mega.

Unlike the original DX toys, both items, for the very first time in Super Sentai Artisan history, will feature voice recognition functionality (the user may need to use Japanese). Voice recognition sounds for the Degitaizer include: “Install!” (transformation sound), “Galaxy Mega!” (mecha sound), and “Opening!” (plays the opening theme song). Also, the buttons on the Battleraizer play the corresponding attack sounds.

What’s unique about this Artisan release is that over 70 recorded voices are featured: Kunihiko Oshiba as Kenta Date/MegaRed, Shigeru Kanai as Yusaku Hayakawa/MegaSilver, and Satoru Saito as INET Scientist Prof. Eikichi Kubota. The Degitaizer also plays various BGM from the show such as the opening and ending themes while the Battleraizer plays the Battleraizer theme and many more. This set includes the Degitaizer, Battleraizer, and a cockpit-type base for the Battleraizer.

The Super Sentai Artisan Degitaizer and Battleraizer Megareal Edition set from Denji Sentai Megaranger will go for ¥12,500 (tax included) and is scheduled for shipment in November 2018. Preorders are being accepted until September 10, 2018, at 23:00 JST.
