Kaiju Girls Black Anime Announces Cast And Staff

Animated series features re-imagining of several Ultra Series monsters as cute girls.

The official website for the previously announced Kaiju Girls Black: Ultra Kaiju Ginjika Keikaku series has announced staff and new cast members along with a promotional video seen below.

The anime is a part of Tsubaraya Productions “Ultra Kaiju Gijinka Keikaku” project, which takes monsters that have appeared in various Ultra Series such as Ultraman, Ultraseven, and Ultraman Leo, and reimagines them as cute girls. The cast includes Hiyori Nitta as Commander Black, Yuki Yagi as Alien Pegassa, Minami Takahashi as Silver Bloome, Kaori Ishihara as Nova, and will be directed by Yasutaka Yamamoto.

The first season was released in Fall 2016 for a 12 episode run, followed by the second season that ran through April of this year. Both seasons are currently available to stream on Crunchyroll.

The anime will have a limited run in theaters across Japan starting on November 23.
