Pre-Sales For Kamen Rider/Super Sentai Summer Movie At Five Year High

Advance ticket sales for the summer Kamen Rider and Super Sentai movie are the highest in five years.

According to reports, pre-sale tickets for the upcoming annual Kamen Rider and Super Sentai summer movie release are the highest that they’ve been in five years. When compiling for two days of sales from this past weekend of June 16 and 17, 17,900 tickets have already been sold. Based on the current numbers, this put the films on track for a big release, with an increase of 191.2% percent from last summer with the double release of Kamen Rider Ex-Aid: True Ending and Uchuu Sentai Kyuranger the Movie: Counterattack of Geth Indaver. The current ticket sale outdoes the previous record of 17,680 held by the combination release of Kamen Rider Wizard In Magicland and Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger: Gaburincho of Music back in August of 2013, which went on to make 1.2 billion yen.

Early ticket buyers will receive a small cell phone stand a themed after either series, limited to the first 40,000 ticket purchases.

As was previously reported, filming for the Kamen Rider Build movie incorporated 3,000 extras, making it the largest amount utilized in the history of the franchise. Kamen Rider Build The Movie: Be The One and Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger vs. Keisatsu Sentai Patranger en Film will debut this summer on August 4, 2018.
