Kamen Rider Hibiki‘s Rakuto Tochihara has chosen to retire from his acting career.

According to Anime News Network, Rakuto Tochihara has announced that he would be retiring from the entertainment industry to focus on managing his father’s company.

Tochihara, now age 28, played two notable roles in the world of tokusatsu: Asumu Adachi in 2005’s Kamen Rider Hibiki, and Assam Asimov (Neo DekaRed) in 2015’s Dekaranger 10 Years After.

When announcing his retirement, Tochihara had this to say:

I’m reporting my retirement from the entertainment industry. I want to thank everyone for giving me lots of support throughout my career, I can only be thankful. Thank you very much.
