Los Angeles local hero Fujiyama Ichiban and the Ichiban Warriors performed a stage production this past Sunday at the South End Health Club, which also featured a short film and a meet and greet session with the heroes.
Held at the South End Health Club in Torrance, CA, the Fujiyama Ichiban Action Live 5 stage show was performed this past Sunday, January 28th. Hosted by creator Michi Yamato and the Samurai Action Studio, the event held two separate showings at both 1 PM and 3:30 PM, starting with the short film Ichiban Warrior vs Dark Matter. The film featured a teaser for Fujiyama Ichiban Ultimate, the continuation of the Fujiyama Ichiban story.
The stage show entitled Battle! Ichiban Warriors VS. Super Blue! was performed immediately after the movie screening. The story featured the Ichiban Warriors (Fujiyama Ichiban, Sakura Ichiban, and Ninja Ichiban) facing off against the dreaded Rockman Red, Rockman Yellow, and Rockman Blue and their monster Dark Hungry. Sakura Ichiban proves her strength against the enemies, and Rockman Blue powers up to become the fearsome Super Blue.
At the halftime mark of the stage show, Rockman Blue selected a small number of audience members to train to become members of Dark Matter, only to be let go from the villain’s grip by winning a colorful game of Rock Paper Scissors.
The show wrapped up with a Meet & Greet session with the Ichiban Warriors. The audience was also thanked with boxes of Strawberry Pocky and an exclusive Fujiyama Ichiban sticker upon leaving the show.
