Prime 1 Studio Announces New Gamera Statue

Prime 1 Studio announced a brand new Gamera Deluxe Version statue modeled after Gamera from Gamera 3: The Revenge of Iris.

Prime 1 Studio, known for their high quality, albeit pricey, collectible statues is once again tackling Gamera, this time based on the appearance of the kaiju in Gamera 3. The statue is available in three different varieties.

Set to release sometime between October 2018 and December 2018 is the ordinary vinyl statue of Gamera. No additional stands or accessories are included with the roughly 21.7-inch statue. This release retails for $499.

One step further, releasing a bit earlier sometime between March 2018 and May 2018 is made of premium polystone material. In addition to a more quality material, this statue includes interchangeable right and left hands. The right-hand includes a burning fist option, complete with an embedded LED unit to make the first glow. This release retails for $699 and is limited to 500 pieces.

Finally, for the ultimate kaiju fan, also releasing between March 2018 and May 2018 is the Deluxe Version. This release contains all of the bonuses of the polystone release, but also includes a collectible display stand based around one of the Kyoto scenes from the film. Also included are three alternate headpieces to change his neck position and expression. This premium edition retails for $999 and is limited to 500 pieces.
