Tsuburaya Productions announced this morning the return of Ultraman Orb in Ultraman Orb: THE CHRONICLE.

Announced this morning, Tsuburaya revealed the details of the newest Ultraman season, Ultraman Orb: THE CHRONICLE. Ultraman Orb: THE CHRONICLE re-tells the story of Ultraman Orb through protagonist Kurenai Gai.

Ultraman Orb was the 28th entry in the Ultra Series, which aired on July 9, 2016. The story followed the “Something Search People” team as they tracked down various monsters and Kurenai Gai as he used the power of Ultraman Orb to save the earth.

The series will include all eight episodes of the mini series spin-off, Ultra Fight Orb, which appeared at the end of Ultraman Zero: THE CHRONICLE, which aired from April to July 2017. It will also feature Kurenai Gai’s “best episode selections” from the original Ultraman Orb TV series. In addition, the series will condense the story of Ultraman Orb featuring new edits as well as showcasing battles from the various Ultraman heroes whose power Kurenai Gai borrowed to transform into Ultraman Orb.

Ultraman Orb: THE CHRONICLE airs January 6, 2018, every Saturday at 9am JST. More details to follow.
