Netflix has released Cyborg 009: Call of Justice, based on Shotaro Ishinomori’s manga, sooner than expected.

Cyborg 009: Call of Justice, a three-part movie based on the Cyborg 009 manga, was released in November and December of 2016 with Netflix obtaining the distribution rights for the movie. Now, Netflix has followed through on their plan to release it as a 12-episode season. Originally, Netflix was expected to debut the film in Spring 2017 with the exact date being unclear.

Cyborg 009: Call of Justice is a 3D-animated film based on Shotaro Ishinomori’s original manga which was first released in 1968. Ishinomori is also well-known for creating the Kamen Rider and Super Sentai series. The original story follows nine cyborgs who protect the world from dangerous threats such as villains who want to incite war.

All 12 parts of the film are now available to watch on Netflix with both dubbed and subbed versions. If you are interested in reading the Cyborg 009 manga, you can find it on Comixology.
