The Meiji era manga will star various tokusatsu actors.

Renn Kiriyama (Kamen Rider W) announced via his Instagram profile a live action film adapting Karakara-Kemuri’s Donten ni Warau. Donten ni Warau is set after the Meiji Restoration in Otsu, Shia Prefecture, Japan. Every 300 years, the enormous and powerful giant snake, Orochi, revives. This is the year of Orochi’s revival.

There are three groups surrounding Orochi’s revival. The Special Forces team Yamainu attempts to seal the power of Orochi. But the ninja group Anyaku from the Fuma clan are also moving to take Orochi’s power in order to overthrow the current government. The Kumo family cares for the Kumo shrine. The Kumo family has 3 sons: the oldest Tenka, the second oldest Soramaru, and the youngest Chutaro.

The main cast also includes Sota Fukushi (Kamen Rider Fourze) as Tenka Kumo, Junya Ikeda (Gokaiger, Garo: Yami wo Terasu Mono) as Hayakage and Ryuya Wakaba as Kiriyu.
