Fan-favorite actors and actresses join the Gavan/Dekaranger Space Squad crossover.

2017’s Space Sheriff Gavan vs Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger and its prologue, Girls In Trouble: Space Squad Episode Zero are already seeing the return of the Dekarangers and the casts of the Space Sheriff Next Generation films. Last week, more of the supporting cast was announced via the official site, and the names include favorites from the original shows and the greater tokusatsu landscape.

Kenji Ohba (the original Gavan) and Tetsu Inada (Doggie Krugger) are both returning for the Space Squad project. They are joined by Mikie Hara (Evil Space Kunoichi Kouga) and Ryouko Yuui (Galactic Federation Police Chief, Sophie). Kamen Rider Gaim and Ultraman X‘s Minami Tsukui is appearing in the Girls in Trouble prologue. Hiroshi Kamiya is the narrator.

A surprise addition to the cast comes from one of the Metal Heroes entries outside of the Space Sheriff series. Junichi Haruta is returning to the role of Mad Gallant, one of the main antagonists from Special Megabeast Investigator Juspion. How exactly Mad Gallant fits into the plot is yet to be seen.

The Space Squad films are coming out Summer 2017 in theaters and on DVD/Blu-ray.
