Himitsu Sentai Goranger HD Remaster Announced

The original Sentai series will be released on Blu-ray beginning next year.

Himitsu Sentai Goranger‘s Blu-ray release will span five volumes and contain an HD remaster of the original 1975 TV series by Shotaro Ishinomori.

The five volumes will contain 15 discs and come with cast interviews as well as other special features as detailed below:

Volume 1
Release date: February 2nd, 2017
Disc 1: Episodes 1-6
Disc 2: Episodes 7-12
Disc 3: Episodes 13-16
Special features include a 16-page booklet and interview with series star Naoya Makoto as well as commercials and a trailer for the first Goranger movie.

Volume 2
Release date: April 4th, 2017
Disc 1: Episodes 17-22
Disc 2: Episodes 23-28
Disc 3: Episodes 29-33
Special features include a 16-page booklet, interview with Hiroshi Miyauchi, and Himitsu Sentai Goranger: The Blue Fortress movie in SD

Volume 3
Release date: June 14th, 2017
Disc 1: Episodes 34-39
Disc 2: Episodes 40-45
Disc 3: Episodes 46-50
Special features include a 16-page booklet, interview with Lisa Komaki, and Himitsu Sentai Goranger: The Red Death Match movie in SD

Volume 4
Release date: August 8th, 2017
