Pacific Rim 2 Adds Jing Tian to Cast

Chinese actress Jing Tian is the latest to join the Pacific Rim 2 cast.

Pacific Rim 2 is steadily building its cast as it marches towards the beginning of production in November. Cailee Spaeny and Scott Eastwood were the first to join the film’s star and producer, John Boyega. Yesterday, they were joined by Jing Tian, an actress known for her roles in New Police Story and Special ID alongside legends like Jackie Chan and Donnie Yen.

Jing Tian has just wrapped up working on Kong: Skull Island, so she should be familiar with combating giant monsters by now.

Pacific Rim 2 is directed by Steven S. DeKnight and produced by Guillermo del Toro and John Boyega. The film begins shooting this November in China and Australia, and is slated for a February 2018 release.
