TRAILER – GARO HD REMASTER Updates CG & Interview

A HD broadcast of the original Garo series has begun airing, featuring remastered SFX.

The Garo franchise has been celebrating its 10th anniversary this year with the second anime series, Garo: Crescent Moon, a short series of episodic tales, Garo: Makai Retsuden, and a special event pairing with the Japanese pro wrestling league, Garo: Ashura.

To conclude the celebrations, an HD remaster of the original 2006 series, Ougon Kishi Garo, will be airing in Makai Retsuden’s timeslot. The remaster will contain updated special effects and feature a commentary track from various staff and cast members available as a secondary audio track.

Stars of the original series, Ryosei Konishi and Mika Hiiji, returned to provide the announcement that can be seen on The Tokusatsu Network’s official Youtube channel:
