Kamen Rider Amazons Season One Listed on Amazon
Amazon Japan reveals a new, upcoming Kamen Rider series streaming exclusively on its Amazon Prime Video service.
Toei and Amazon are working together on the production of a new Kamen Rider series, Kamen Rider Amazons. The series will be broadcast exclusively through Amazon’s Amazon Prime Video service.
Fujita Tomu plays Yu Mizusawa, the “Domestic Type” Kamen Rider Amazon Omega and Masashi Taniguchi , known for his role as GoBlue in Kyukyu Sentai GoGoV, plays Hitoshi Takayama, the “Wild Type” Kamen Rider Amazon Alpha
The description for the series given by Amazon says it will “expand the horizons” of Rider fans and will differentiate itself from the current Kamen Rider Ghost TV series being broadcast on Sunday mornings by containing challenging stories like those found in American comic book hero movies.
The supporting cast includes Rena Takeda, Higashi Ayu (episodes 18 and 19 of Kamen Rider Drive), Mitsutoshi Shundo (Ultraman Nexus and Ultra Galaxy), Kobayashi Ryota (Kamen Teacher the Movie: Silver Mask), Ryoma Baba (Blue Buster in Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters), Miyahara Kanon, Katsuya, Kazuya Tanabe, Hiroshi Asahina, Takako Katou, Komatsu Toshimasa
Hidenori Ishida (Kamen Rider Blade, Hibiki, Kabuto) will direct the series and Yasuko Kobayashi (Sailor Moon, Kamen Rider Den-O, Shinkenger, ToQger) will write.
The series will launch on April 1st with a special trailer available on March 18th.
