GARO Retsuden to Begin Airing April 8th in Japan

The new show entitled GARO – Retsuden, will begin airing from April 8th 1:23AM, presumably taking over GARO: Crimson Moon’s timeslot.

GARO – Retsuden was previously announced back in November of last year. The plot and setting of the show have not been announced and the latest press packet sent to press outlets teases at previous characters returning:

“Will your favorite characters appear? Is it a sequel? Is it some kind of side story embedded in the series? There’s lots of interest involved in every episode of GARO Makai Retsuden.
In 10 years of the GARO series, they’ve accumulated techniques, condensing all the sentiments of the staff and cast crammed together. All of GARO is here. “

Retsuden is one of many new GARO projects slated for this year. A new ZERO TV series starring Ray Fujita is also on the way, as is an anime movie featuring characters from GARO: Divine Flame.
