Shinobi 33: The Kunoichi that Loved Yakumo
Written by Tadahiro Mouri
Directed by Noboru Takemoto

While Ariake no Kata laments the loss of the “useful fox”, Tsugomori now summons the 5th Ninja, the Kibaoni School Kunoichi (female ninja) Suzumebachi.

Takaharu is reached by one of her venom arrows. Those affected with Suzumebachi’s venom will die in 12 hours unless the antidote is given. Suzumebachi targets Nagi next but Yakumo steps in and protects Nagi in total disregard of his own life. Suzumebachi is struck by the selflessness of Yakumo and falls for him. Blinded by love, she now attacks anyone who she sees as an interference to her and Yakumo being together, and poisons Kinji and Kasumi as well. Yakumo, in order to obtain the antidote, plans Operation Romeo and Juliet.
